Our country has been witnessing a splurt of growth in the retail industry. The vast middle class and our almost untapped retail industry are the key attractive forces for global retail giants wanting to enter into India. Based on this knowledge, the retail mall hub activity was organized on 11th September 2013 for the MBA I Semester students to observe and analyze the strategies, strengths and opportunities, layouts, assortment, store format and ambience of retail stores. The retail mall hub at Saket which includes Select Citywalk, DLF Place and Metropolitan MGF was covered by all the students. The activity was also aimed at creating awareness about the successful foreign as well as domestic brands operating in these malls.
