Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad conducted a ‘Corporate Mentoring Session’ with Ms. Himani Deswal, Manager, Axis Bank on Dec 4, 2021 from 6:00 Pm to 730 PM. The objective of the session was to provide students an interactive platform to discuss their future corporate journey.
Ms. Himani Deswal is a banking professional with 10 years of achievement driven experience in managing corporate sales and marketing. She is currently working as a manager at AXIS Bank. She is a Professional Life Coach, NLP master practitioner and an image consultant too with an incredible academic background.
The session was organised by Dr. Rashmi Maini, Assistant professor, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad for her mentees (Ms. Anushka Srivastava, Ms. Madhurima Srivastava, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Karanjeet Gupta, Mr. Kartikey Urmalia, Ms. Devanshi Paliwal, Ms. Kajal Aggarwal, Mr. Vipul Tiwari, Ms. Harsha, Ms. Harshita, Mr. Ayush Rajput, Mr. Mayank Dubey, Mr. Manish Kumar, Mr. Bashar Nawaj, Mr. Bipul).
The session started with the introduction of the guest speaker Ms. Himani Deswal, by Madhurima Srivastava. After addressing the guest, the mentees were asked to introduce themselves. All the students discussed about their academic and professional background, their strengths and weaknesses and short term & long-term goals. They also discussed about their intended area of specialisation with the speaker.
Ms. Himani Deswal interacted with all the students at length and answered all the queries of each and every student. Moreover, she gave them additional suggestions for the improvement in their respective fields/areas. She advised everyone about which specialisation to opt for according to their skill set and also discussed the skills required for a particular domain. The session was so helpful and motivating for all the students. In the end, a formal vote of thanks was proposed and students requested her to take another session in near future.
