Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial Visit to manufacturing unit of Parle-G in Bahadurgarh, Haryana for MBA Students of batch 2022-24 on 14th October 2022. MBA students were escorted by the officials of the unit who took them to the manufacturing unit and students got a chance to see the inside view of the factory manufacturing process from dough (the first input) to last stage i.e., packaging and how each step is performed mechanically.
Students also got to know about the printing department of the product as well. The entire system was explained to students in the auditorium through a video about how efficiently manufacturing lakhs of products was being carried out successfully. The environment inside of the unit was aesthetic, pure and hygienic. The visit ended with a vote of thanks from both sides. Overall, the activity was highly interactive and a great learning experience for the students on the concepts related to production and operations within a manufacturing plant. Through such industrial visits, the Institute hope to cultivate practical learning by fueling their curiosity and encouraging them to understand in a hands-on manner.
