The Fintech Club at Jaipuria Institute of Management hosted an engaging and educational event on October 3, 2024, titled “FinWin: Financial Literacy Game”. This activity aimed to enhance students' understanding of essential financial accounting terms while fostering a fun and interactive learning environment.
Objective of the Event:
The main objective of FinWin was to clear up any confusion regarding financial accounting terms for students and provide them with an in-depth understanding of crucial financial concepts. The event was designed to build a solid foundation for their academic and professional future in finance.
Description of the Activity:
In this exciting event, students participated in a financial literacy game using a bingo-style format. The game, carefully crafted by the event’s faculty coordinator Dr. Namita Srivastava, was structured to help students understand financial terms in a fun and engaging way.
Each student received a bingo card with 25 unique financial terms. Statements were displayed on the screen, and students were required to identify the corresponding terms on their bingo cards. The game consisted of three rounds:
- Early 11 Round: The first participant to correctly identify 11 financial terms was awarded a prize.
- Whole House Round: In the next two rounds, participants who completed their entire bingo card were declared the winners.
The game format made learning financial accounting terms interactive and competitive, helping students retain important information through practice and application.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the event, students gained a deeper understanding of:
- Key financial accounting terms and how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
- The importance of financial terms in understanding the broader financial ecosystem.
- Basic skills to analyze financial statements, a crucial aspect for any finance professional.

The event saw 41 students actively participate, alongside the support of three faculty coordinators:
