Empowering Young Minds: Internship Program for Students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara
Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, launched an extensive four-day internship program for students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, designed to introduce them to entrepreneurship, design thinking, and real-world business challenges.
The first day of the internship featured two engaging sessions:
1️⃣ Importance of Design Thinking – Led by Dr. Devi Archana Mohanty, Associate Professor, JIM Ghaziabad
2️⃣ Startup as a Career – Conducted by Ms. Shailza Sood Dasgupta, Co-founder, Homestays of India
Session 1: Importance of Design Thinking
Dr. Devi Archana Mohanty introduced students to the five stages of Design Thinking – Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Through case studies of Zomato, Zepto, and Uber, she demonstrated how innovation plays a crucial role in business success. The session emphasized problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking, preparing students to tackle future challenges with confidence.
Session 2: Startup as a Career Choice
Ms. Shailza Sood Dasgupta shared her inspiring journey from a corporate career at Google to becoming a social entrepreneur. She encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career option, highlighting the opportunities, challenges, and the importance of innovation in startups.
The interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and real-world insights provided students with a new perspective on innovation and entrepreneurship, making the first day of the internship an impactful learning experience.
