On April 24, 2025, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), hosted Day 4 of IP UTSAV 2025, themed "Mark the Spot: Trademarks Talk". The session was held at the JIM classrooms and focused on enhancing awareness around trademarks and geographical indications (GIs) as crucial components of intellectual property and branding.
Objective: The session aimed to:
- Enhance understanding of trademarks and geographical indications.
- Educate participants on registration processes, legal protections, and enforcement mechanisms.
- Highlight the economic value and branding potential of trademarks and GIs.
- Promote the importance of regional identity and heritage-based innovation.
