Expert Talk on Time Management: Strategies and Challenges

Keeping in mind the importance of Time Management for management students, Jaipuria Institute of Management Indirapuram conducted an expert talk on the topic Time Management for Students: Strategies and Challenges on 10 August, 11 AM – 12 PM. The expert speaker was Dr Jyotsna Sinha, professor in Communication, MNNIT, Allahabad. Dr Sinha, began her speech on time while quoting appropriate examples from literature. She urged students to become more conscious towards their daily activities and prioritize their activities to achieve optimum benefit. She emphasized that time management is very much similar to self management; management students should micro manage their day to day activities while focusing on the more important things in life. Her suggestions on time management were very practical and realistic, which received an overwhelming response from students.    The talk was highly interactive; there was active participation from students. Students were highly benefitted by the talk as it gave them a guideline for their future course of action. The event was coordinated by Dr Devi Archana Mohanty. Faculty members of the institute and the Deans (Academic and student Welfare) were present in the session. The online talk was attended by more than 150 students.
