The Literary Club at JIM Ghaziabad celebrated Mothers Day on 7th May 2022 to honour all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they undertake. The event was attended by both teaching and non-teaching members of JIM and students from both MBA (Common) and MBA (BA). A host of performances were planned to honour and appreciate all working mothers in the institute. The venue was beautifully decorated in keeping with the theme. The wall magazine Magnum Opus was decorated with beautiful pictures and captions from students and faculty members. A heart touching video was prepared by the student members of the Literary Club in honour of the loving mothers. The Literary club took the utmost care to take pictures of faculty members with their kids, and students with their mothers. An attractive video was prepared and played at the event which made the audience emotional. The outcome of their efforts was marvellous. There were also arrangements for refreshments.
A beautifully designed cake was cut by women members of the institute. The entire event glorified the mother as God, teacher, friend, philosopher and guide and emphasized the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. The student members of the Literary Club Ms Anindita, Ms Avishka, Mr Yuganshu, and Mr Rachit were actively involved in the preparation of the event. The event was coordinated by Dr Devi Archana Mohanty. Dr Ashwani, Dean, Students Welfare inspired the students to carry forward the event. The event garnered immense praise from both students and faculty members.
