Showcasing Creative Brilliance: 'Truth or Lie - Ads Never Die' at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad

At the vibrant campus of Jaipuria Institute of Management in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, the Marketing Research Club recently orchestrated a thought-provoking advertising competition that celebrated the fusion of creativity and marketing prowess. Aptly titled ‘Truth or Lie: Ads Never Die,’ the event on April 27, 2024, was a testament to Jaipuria’s reputation as a hub for cultivating the next generation of marketing maestros in the Delhi NCR region.

The competition set the stage for participants to conceive and present innovative advertisements for chosen products, challenging them to stretch their imagination beyond the conventional. With an option to enact live or present a pre-recorded video, the teams had up to five minutes to make an impact.

The event drew five teams composed of four creatively charged individuals each, who either captivated the audience live on stage or through compelling video ads. They were scrutinized by a panel of distinguished judges, including Dean Academics Dr. Rashmi Bhatia and alumna Ms. Srishti Goel of Clix Capital, for their relevance, originality, understanding of marketing concepts, presentation skills, and the overall influence of their advertisements.

In a close competition, Vartika Ahuja’s team clinched the top spot, showcasing an exceptional grasp of the advertising essentials. They were awarded a cash prize, honoring their ability to weave marketing theories into practical executions. Ankit Raj’s squad followed as the first runner-up, also praised for their creativity and strategic approach.

The event culminated with the distribution of E-Certificates to all participants, affirming Jaipuria Institute of Management’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent.
