The RISE 2025 International Conference, organized by Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, brought together global thought leaders, policymakers, educators, and industry experts to explore the urgent theme: "Responsible Innovation for Sustainable Economy."
The day-long event aimed to reimagine economic growth through the lens of ethical innovation, inclusive practices, and sustainability—a vision closely aligned with India's evolving innovation ecosystem and global responsibilities.
Highlights from the Conference
Lighting of the Lamp & Welcome Address: The conference commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment.
Prof. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and attendees. He also announced a green initiative in collaboration with Grow-Trees, where 10 trees were planted in honor of Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Chief Guest.

Inaugural & Theme Address: Mr. Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman, Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society, delivered the inaugural keynote, emphasizing the institute’s long-standing commitment to responsible education and future-focused innovation. His vision underscored how academic institutions can lead the charge in shaping a sustainable economic framework.
Chief Guest Address
Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Member of Parliament and Former Union Minister, inspired the audience with his real-world perspective on India's digital revolution and its alignment with sustainability.

Keynote Speaker: Prof. Jai Prakash Pandey
As Vice Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Prof. Pandey’s address served as the academic backbone of the conference. His keynote was a deep dive into ethical innovation, AI accountability, and India’s role in global innovation ecosystems.

Guest of Honour: Prof. Dr. Maurits van Rooijen
Chairman, Gisma’s Board of Governors & Rector, University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Germany, Prof. Rooijen advocated for a shift from mere leadership to “Leadership + Entrepreneurship + Stewardship” (LESS).
He emphasized that true innovation is rooted in creativity, long-term vision, and ethical grounding.

The conference also saw the official release of the RISE 2025 Souvenir and Conference Journal, showcasing selected academic papers and institutional milestones.
Parallel Technical Sessions
Post-lunch, the event continued with seven online technical sessions, where faculty members, researchers, and students presented their papers on topics ranging from AI in Business Sustainability to Green Innovation Models.
Valedictory Session
The conference concluded with a reflective valedictory session celebrating the day’s learnings and reinforcing Jaipuria’s commitment to building a sustainable, inclusive, and innovation-driven economy.
