Interning with a reputable and large corporation provides the opportunity for the students to gain first hand experience in the day-to-day operations of a business organization, the same happened with me , as I Shashwat student of the most prestigious institution of Ghaziabad would like to thank Jaipuria Institute of Management for providing the internship programme from India’s No.1 retail company FutureGroup.
FutureGroup is an Indian private conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai. Its significance is in Fashion sectors and FMCG manufacturing sectors.
FutureGroup has many stores all over the India one such store is in Indirapuram where I was called on 2nd June at 10:30, there was a meeting which had a discussion about the issues related to the stores and one such motivating speech was given to us by our mentor Mr.KULDEEP- HR Brand Factory and he also introduced me to the Other Employees of the store as well as to the Stores Manager Mr. Prasanjeet who is a very Dynamic person. He discussed with me all the Terms and Conditions and also gave me an insight of how a store runs? What are the Processes? On my first day I was asked to observe the environment of the store and to work on the three basic terms the operations, employee, and customer management.
The culture of the FutureGroup store Brand Factory is very Unique and Challenging where we have different set targets to achieve at a particular point of time. The day-to-day activities are taken into consideration where it helped me to practice the lessons and theories learnt in the classrooms.
Sometimes it becomes difficult to match up the expectations of the organization because of the hectic Schedule. But undeniably the motivation and inspiration factor keeps us going.
