The MDP on HR Analytics: Unlocking Human Potential will help participants in understanding the fundamentals of Business Analytics such as statistics, predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, machine learning techniques, data visualization, and data storytelling, and then apply them to real-world applications of analytics in the HR domain. This will equip participants with the skills to think analytically and discover ways to improve various people management functions. It will also help participants  in gaining a competitive advantage by capturing data-enabled business opportunities and providing them with much needed data literacy.

It is important to develop an analytical mindset and evaluate business objectives in a scientific way to derive meaningful insights. The use of data, metrics, and analytics helps organizations in proactively uncovering information pertaining to employee calibre,  talent, contribution , understanding the value of an engaged employee, recognizing  factors that lead to employee turnover, and predicting the future productivity of job applicants. Human resource professionals can extract valuable insights from data and offer their organizations competitive advantage through the rigorous collection, analysis, presentation, and predictive use of data, there by effectively contributing to organizational decision-making processes. This MDP will provide an overview of HR analytics as well as several hands-on demonstrations. Participants will learn to conduct analysis using open-source software and also learn to critically examine and present insights that can be used to drive organizational transformation.

The focus of this session is to introduce learners to the fundamentals of HR Analytics and Data Science through real-world examples. Participants will learn the fundamentals of R programming, which is an essential part of data analytics. Understanding different types of Data Science projects and lifecycles will give them a competitive edge in an organization.

Since she has a keen interest in Human Resource Management, Organisation Behaviour, Data

Analytics, Research and Scientific Decision making, she completed the Data Scientist

Program from Jigsaw Academy, to learn the latest tools, techniques, and practices covering

SPSS, AMOS, R, Python, Tableau, SAS, Machine learning and AI. She has done a research

project with Indian Institute Of Management Udaipur on Experience of ‘Benched’ Employees in the Information Technology Industry. She has conducted various workshops on data science, questionnaire designing and factor analysis, basics of research methodology, stress management, Industrial oriented jobs and career counselling. She has to her credit various publications and chapters in ABDC, Scopus, UGC Care and Taylor & Francis. She has also presented her research paper in Academy of Management (AOM) conference. She excels in the areas of HR analytics, Industry Dynamics, Competency Mapping, Employee Engagement, Organizational Learning, Network Analysis and Economic Sociology.
