The Marketing Research Club of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad successfully organized the “Idea to Market Challenge” on 13th December 2025 at the institute’s auditorium. The two-hour challenge provided students with a hands-on platform to experience the complete journey of transforming an idea into a market-ready product through strategic thinking and marketing research.
Designed to simulate real-world marketing scenarios, the event encouraged participants to step into the role of professional marketers. Student teams brainstormed innovative product ideas, developed basic prototypes, identified customer needs, and crafted comprehensive marketing strategies using the 4Ps and 7Ps marketing frameworks. From product conceptualization and pricing decisions to promotion and distribution planning, the challenge tested students’ ability to apply theoretical concepts in a competitive and time-bound setting.
A total of 28 students, divided into five teams, participated enthusiastically. Each team showcased strong analytical and creative skills while presenting their marketing plans. The challenge enabled students to apply marketing research methods to identify market gaps, evaluate consumer insights, and design solutions aligned with target audiences. Participants also gained practical exposure in developing integrated marketing mixes and presenting their strategies confidently.
The learning outcomes of the event extended beyond marketing knowledge. Students strengthened their team collaboration, problem-solving abilities, presentation skills, and strategic decision-making, all of which are critical competencies for future marketing professionals and entrepreneurs.
The winning team demonstrated exceptional clarity in customer analysis, innovation in product design, and effectiveness in marketing strategy. Team members Omni, Guruvesh Kumar Singh, Somya Sinha, Arnav, Prapti Patwal, and Jatin were awarded books sponsored by the institute’s library, recognizing their outstanding performance.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Abhinav Sharma, Dr. Anubha, Ms. Abhilasha Singh, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, and Dr. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava, with the support of four faculty members.
