Literary Club Hosts ‘RACHNAA’: Contemporary Business Essay Challenge at Jaipuria Ghaziabad

The Literary Club of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad successfully organized RACHNAA – Contemporary Business Essay Challenge on 13th December 2025 at the Indirapuram campus. The event was designed to strengthen students’ analytical thinking, research orientation, and structured writing skills by encouraging them to critically examine contemporary business issues.

The primary objective of RACHNAA was to provide students with a platform to explore real-world business scenarios and articulate informed perspectives supported by research and logical reasoning. The competition reflected Jaipuria’s focus on developing well-rounded management professionals who can think critically and communicate effectively.

The challenge featured a diverse range of thought-provoking themes, including AI and the future of work, green consumerism, geopolitics and global supply chains, digital transformation in Indian retail, the gig economy and employee well-being, ESG as a business imperative, post-COVID business models, India’s start-up ecosystem, ethics of data privacy, and leadership in times of crisis. These topics enabled participants to engage deeply with current global and Indian business realities.

A total of 14 students submitted their essays, each presenting unique insights and perspectives. Entries were evaluated on well-defined criteria covering content relevance and depth, critical analysis, originality, structure and organization, and language and presentation. The judging framework ensured a fair and comprehensive assessment of both conceptual understanding and writing quality.

The competition concluded with the announcement of winners. Arnav (MBA Dual) secured the First Prize, followed by Ritu Chaudhary (MBA Dual) and Snigdha Halder (MBA Dual) as Second Prize winners. The Third Prize was awarded to Deepal Gupta (BFSI). The winners shared their reflections with the audience, adding further learning value to the event.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Abhilasha Singh (Club In-charge), Dr. Kratika Singh, and Dr. Himanshu Sharma, with student coordination by Varnika Chaudhary and Abhinav Tiwari. RACHNAA proved to be a meaningful learning experience, reinforcing Jaipuria Ghaziabad’s commitment to academic excellence, critical thinking, and holistic student development.
