The Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, through its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully conducted the JIM Intra-Institutional Idea Innovation Challenge from 24th to 28th November 2025. Held across first-floor classrooms on campus, the five-day initiative served as a dynamic platform for MBA Semester-1 students to present innovative solutions to real-world problems while strengthening their entrepreneurial mindset.
Designed as a 20-hour Level-4 activity in line with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) guidelines, the challenge encouraged students from MBA (Dual & BFS) programs to ideate, refine, and present structured business concepts. The primary objective was to foster creativity, problem-solving ability, and innovation while providing expert mentoring and constructive evaluation.
A total of 258 students participated, submitting ideas across diverse and high-impact domains such as Sustainability, HealthTech, FinTech, EdTech, Women’s Safety, Logistics, Agritech, and Digital Innovation. Each team was evaluated on clearly defined parameters including novelty, need identification, feasibility, scalability, societal and commercial impact, and the quality of YUKTI-NIR submissions.
The event provided an enriching learning experience, allowing students to receive valuable feedback from faculty evaluators while observing a wide spectrum of innovative approaches presented by their peers. The challenge successfully simulated an entrepreneurial environment where students learned to articulate problems, validate solutions, and communicate their ideas effectively.
Among the many impressive entries, Chota Gigz: Small Jobs & Big Benefits, Cropnova, and Biznest stood out for their strong innovation potential, feasibility, and market relevance. These projects received high appreciation from the evaluation panel for their structured thinking and real-world applicability.
With the active involvement of 15 faculty members and the dedicated coordination of Dr. Namita, Dr. Smita, and Dr. Devi, the initiative reinforced Jaipuria Ghaziabad’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. The Intra-Institutional Idea Innovation Challenge reflected the institute’s vision of developing future-ready leaders capable of driving meaningful impact through innovation.
