Industrial Visit at Yakult on 27th Feb, 2019

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad organized an industrial visit for MBA students on 27th February 2019 at the manufacturing facility of Yakult health drink located in Sonepat Industrial Area, Haryana. The main objective of the plant visit was to provide exposure to students about the manufacturing process of Yakult health drink. Moreover, the students were also required to understand other managerial aspects of Yakult operation like Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Distribution Network, etc. Mr. Aadish of PR Department of Yakult briefed about the company and all processes including manufacturing, supply chain management, and marketing. The students were taken for the processing facility visit. All the sections of the manufacturing facility were shown in operating condition. These included the Fermentation process, bottle manufacturing, processing, testing and bottling, labeling, packaging, and dispatch facilities. Overall the visit was very informative and the students & faculty members understood the manufacturing and distribution process of Yakult product including quality control.
