As part of the Shubharambh Orientation Program 2025–27, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad organized an insightful Workshop on Human Values & Professional Ethics on 25th August 2025 at its Indirapuram, Ghaziabad campus. The session, conducted by Dr. Upasana Mishra, focused on instilling ethical awareness, empathy, and a holistic perspective of life among the new batch of future managers.
Purpose and Objectives
The workshop aimed to sensitize students to the importance of human values in personal, professional, and social contexts. Its key objectives included:
- Helping students develop a holistic outlook on life, spanning individual, family, society, and nature.
- Encouraging self-reflection and awareness of their behavior and interactions.
- Reinforcing that human values are inherent within all individuals, guiding decisions between right and wrong.
- Cultivating the ability to manage life situations with integrity, empathy, and resilience.
Workshop Highlights
With participation from 330 students along with faculty and staff members, the workshop was interactive and introspective. Dr. Mishra guided students through activities and reflections designed to strengthen:
- Self-awareness & Happiness: Students reflected on their emotions, behavior, and the role of happiness in leading a fulfilling life.
- Prosperity & Empathy: Emphasis was placed on self-understanding, empathy, and building meaningful relationships.
- Ethical Leadership: Discussions highlighted integrity, responsibility, and sustainability as cornerstones of management practice.
- Practical Decision-Making: Students explored how to align professional choices with core values and ethical principles.

The Human Values & Professional Ethics Workshop encouraged MBA students at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, to align their professional ambitions with compassion, integrity, and ethical leadership.
