CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview withProf. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director – Jaipuria Institute of Management

1. How do you envision EdTech transforming the delivery of business management education in the next 5 years?

EdTech will personalize learning, increase accessibility, and enable data-driven teaching strategies. Hybrid classrooms, immersive simulations, and global virtual collaborations will redefine how students engage with business concepts.

2. What role do you think AI-powered adaptive learning platforms can play in enhancing student outcomes in business schools?

AI can identify learning gaps in real time and customize content accordingly, helping students progress at their own pace. This adaptive approach promotes deeper understanding and better retention of complex management theories.

3. How can business schools effectively integrate emerging technologies like blockchain, virtual reality, and augmented reality into their curricula?

By aligning these technologies with practical use cases—like using VR for experiential learning, AR for skill simulations, and blockchain for teaching transparency in business processes—institutions can make learning more application-oriented.

4. What are some key challenges you’ve faced in implementing EdTech solutions in your institution, and how have you addressed them?

Initial resistance to change, digital literacy gaps, and infrastructure limitations were key hurdles. We overcame them by investing in faculty training, upgrading our tech infrastructure, and creating a phased implementation plan.

5. In your opinion, what metrics or benchmarks should business schools use to measure the effectiveness of EdTech interventions in improving student learning outcomes?

Metrics should include student engagement levels, assessment performance, skill acquisition, and long-term employability. Feedback loops from students and faculty can also offer valuable insights into the efficacy of these tools.
