At Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and innovation is a core part of the MBA learning experience. To nurture problem-solving, creativity, and business strategy, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the IT & Design Club, organized a four-day workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design, followed by a Startup Idea Presentation Competition from January 27 to 30, 2025.
The event provided 243 MBA students with a platform to present and refine their startup ideas, linking design thinking methodologies with real-world business challenges.
Key Highlights of the Event: Workshop on Design Thinking & Innovation, Before the startup presentations, students participated in a 20-hour intensive workshop covering:
- Design Thinking Framework – Structuring creative problem-solving approaches.
- Critical Thinking Strategies – Evaluating and refining business ideas for market fit.
- Innovation-Driven Approach – Aligning creativity with business feasibility.
This foundation enabled students to develop, structure, and present their startup ideas with a business-focused approach.
Startup Idea Presentations: Following the workshop, students pitched their business ideas to faculty panels, covering:
- Vision & Mission – Core purpose and long-term goals of the startup.
- Business Challenges – Identifying industry pain points and solutions.
- Financial Plan – Revenue models, funding strategies, and sustainability.
- HR & Operations – Workforce planning, logistics, and business execution.
