The 5-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, commenced on June 20, 2025, with an intensive session focused on qualitative research methodologies using MAXQDA—a leading software for qualitative and mixed-method data analysis. The session was conducted in hybrid mode and witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty across institutions.
Dr. Rahul Pratap Singh Kaurav, from FORE School of Management, Delhi, led the session with practical demonstrations and conceptual clarity. He guided the participants through the MAXQDA interface—showing how to initiate research projects, import diverse data formats (text, image, video, and audio), and efficiently code and organize qualitative data.
Throughout the day, participants explored essential research techniques such as thematic analysis, narrative analysis, content analysis, and text mining. The workshop concluded with a hands-on introduction to sentiment analytics and social media data analysis, including methods to extract insights from unstructured media.
