Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, through its AICTE Activities Committee, organized an Oath Taking Ceremony under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) on 23 January 2026 at the JIM Auditorium. The programme was conducted from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff.
The ceremony was organized with the objective of reinforcing the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, ethical citizenship, and nation-building. In alignment with the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, the event aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to instill a collective resolve to remain drug-free.
As part of the national flagship initiative, participants were sensitized to the physical, psychological, social, and economic consequences of drug and substance abuse. The programme began with a brief address highlighting the significance of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and the vital role educational institutions play in shaping responsible and informed youth.
Following the address, the oath was administered to all attendees. Students and faculty members pledged to abstain from drugs and substance abuse, promote awareness within their families and communities, support rehabilitation and well-being initiatives, and contribute positively toward building a healthy, disciplined, and value-driven society. The oath-taking was conducted in a solemn and dignified manner, fostering unity, responsibility, and commitment among participants.
The ceremony witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 270 students and faculty members, reflecting strong institutional support for national initiatives aimed at social reform and public well-being. The collective engagement highlighted the shared responsibility of the academic community in supporting preventive measures and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Through this initiative, participants developed a deeper understanding of substance abuse prevention, responsible decision-making, and moral accountability. The event reaffirmed Jaipuria Institute of Management’s commitment to value-based education and its role in nurturing socially responsible future leaders.
