The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad conducted a three-day hands-on workshop titled “Data-Smart Entrepreneurship with AI & Power BI” from 12–14 November 2025. The workshop was designed to help students understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), and modern analytics tools are reshaping decision-making and innovation across industries.
With a strong focus on practical learning, the sessions aimed to build student capacity in using AI-enabled insights and Power BI dashboards to support entrepreneurial ideas, product design, and business strategies.
Day 1: BI Foundations & Power BI Basics
The first session introduced students to the fundamentals of Business Intelligence, the impact of AI-driven analytics, and the structure of Power BI. Participants learned how to:

Import datasets from multiple sources

Perform data cleaning and transformation

Apply Power Query for merging and shaping data
The session included real-world examples, open discussions, and Q&A segments that connected analytical concepts to entrepreneurial applications.
Day 2: Data Modeling & DAX for Smart Analytics
The second day focused on the essentials of data modeling, helping students learn how to structure data for meaningful analysis.

Introduction to DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Students practiced building data models and using DAX to generate insights—critical skills for entrepreneurs working on market assessments, customer analytics, and financial projections.
Day 3: Advanced DAX, Dashboarding & AI Insights
The final session elevated the learning experience through advanced analytical techniques. Students explored:

A capstone activity concluded the workshop, where participants built complete dashboards integrating everything learned across three sessions.

The workshop strengthened the analytical readiness of MBA students, equipping them with essential skills for modern entrepreneurship.
