Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, under the aegis of its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), proudly celebrated the 5th Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 with an engaging two-hour offline session held in the campus conference hall. The event served as a platform to reflect on NEP’s transformative vision for higher education, its practical implementation in management studies, and its role in fostering interdisciplinary innovation and entrepreneurship.
Setting the Tone for the Celebration
The session began with a warm welcome by Dr. Devi Archana Mohanty, who greeted Prof. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director; Prof. Rashmi Bhatia, Dean Academics; Prof. Varshney, Dean Student Welfare; faculty members; and students. She outlined the objectives of the session, emphasizing the significance of NEP 2020 in shaping India’s education landscape.
Insights on NEP’s Vision and Implementation
Prof. Rashmi Bhatia, Dean (Academics), discussed NEP 2020’s forward-looking vision for interdisciplinary learning, stressing the importance of integrating multiple domains to prepare students for dynamic global challenges.
Prof. Varshney, Dean (Student Welfare), shared insights on fostering entrepreneurial thinking and enabling cross-sector innovation opportunities under NEP 2020. An interactive quiz conducted by him added an element of fun while assessing participants’ understanding of NEP’s core principles. He also detailed Jaipuria Institute’s efforts in aligning its curriculum design with NEP guidelines.

In his closing remarks, Prof. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director, highlighted the institute’s strategic approach to implementing NEP 2020 at the university level.
