Mastering Research Techniques & Academic Writing: From Qualitative Analysis to AI-Driven Insights
The fifth and final day of the 5-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad was held on June 24, 2025, and focused on equipping participants with cutting-edge skills in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for research data analysis and scholarly writing. The session was led by Dr. Shalini Sahni, Founder of Koach Scholar, whose expert insights guided participants through the practical application of AI in the academic workflow.
The day began with an introduction to AI-powered platforms that simplify and enhance data interpretation for both qualitative and quantitative research. Following a brief tea break, participants explored how AI can assist in structuring research arguments, paraphrasing content, and improving clarity in academic manuscripts.
The afternoon sessions delved deeper into research writing, starting with the development of high-quality review articles and concluding with strategies for writing structured qualitative papers. Topics included journal alignment, referencing practices, and ethical considerations when using AI in academic work.
