Jaipuria Institute of Management organized a role play competition under the onus of OBL forum on Saturday 16th February, 2013. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Shishir Jaipuria (Vice-President Jaipuria Group), Prof.(Dr) DavienderNarang (Director-Jaipuria Institute of Management) and Mrs. Manju Rana (Principal-Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara) with traditional lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. The objective of this competition was to create awareness on the burgeoning issues with which our society is being surrounded today.
There were six participating groups of MBA 2nd Semester students who focused on societal problems in a very cohesive manner through their stage performances. The winner group Aakrosh highlighted the truth behind naxalism and the condition of Indian soldiers in naxalite area. Comet group highlighted the importance of safety rules which are commonly overlooked by the public. The Cracker group highlighted the importance of education and women empowerment. Dazzler group emphasized on the need of reforms in present education system while Kites group raised a strong voice against female infanticide.
The program concluded with prize and certificate distribution by Prof.(Dr) Daviender Narang to the winning and participating teams. The jury members for the event were Dr. Ashwani Varshney, Dr. Neelu Tiwari and Dr. Prachee Mishra. The event was organized by Dr. Shikha Singh and was a great learning experience for all.
