SPANDAN Alumni Talk 2026: Connecting MBA Students with the Jaipuria Alumni Community

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad organised SPANDAN Alumni Talk as part of Shubharambh, the Orientation Programme for MBA Batch 2026–28. The session brought alumni and students together for an engaging exchange of experiences, perspectives and insights.

Designed to connect the incoming MBA batch with members of the Jaipuria alumni community, SPANDAN created an interactive platform where students could hear directly from those who have already experienced the journey from management education to the professional world.

Alumni Returning to the Campus

SPANDAN brought together alumni from different batches, creating an opportunity for them to reconnect with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad while interacting with the new generation of MBA students.

The alumni shared their experiences and perspectives with students through interactive discussions. Their presence provided the incoming batch with an opportunity to understand the value of learning, professional development and relationships built during the MBA journey.

The session also reflected the continuing connection between the Institute and its alumni community.

Conversations Beyond the Classroom

A key feature of SPANDAN was its conversational and interactive format. Rather than limiting the programme to formal addresses, alumni participated in discussions that allowed students to listen to different perspectives and experiences.

The interaction gave MBA students exposure to insights beyond textbooks and classroom learning. Alumni spoke from their own experiences, making the session relatable for students who are beginning their management education.

Such conversations can play an important role in helping students understand how their academic journey connects with professional growth and future career opportunities.

Learning Through Alumni Experiences

Alumni engagement is an important component of management education because it connects current students with individuals who have already navigated similar academic and professional journeys.

Through SPANDAN, students had an opportunity to listen to alumni experiences and understand the importance of developing themselves throughout their MBA programme.

The session encouraged students to look at their two-year MBA journey not simply as an academic programme, but as a period for building knowledge, communication abilities, professional relationships and a broader understanding of the business world.

An Interactive Exchange with MBA Students

Student participation formed an important part of the programme. The photographs from the event capture MBA students actively interacting with the speakers and raising questions during the session.

This two-way interaction transformed SPANDAN from an alumni address into a meaningful exchange between alumni and the incoming MBA batch.

For students beginning their MBA journey, having direct access to alumni provides an opportunity to ask questions, understand different perspectives and learn from experiences that extend beyond formal academic instruction.

Strengthening the Jaipuria Alumni Connect

SPANDAN also highlighted the role of alumni in the larger learning ecosystem at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad.

Alumni can serve as an important bridge between campus learning and professional life. Their experiences provide current students with practical perspectives while strengthening the relationship between the Institute and its graduates.

Bringing alumni back to campus also creates opportunities for networking, mentorship and continued engagement with the student community.

Part of Shubharambh 2026

The SPANDAN Alumni Talk formed part of Shubharambh, the Orientation Programme for MBA Batch 2026–28.

The orientation programme marks the beginning of the new batch’s academic journey at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. Including alumni interaction within the orientation experience gives incoming students early exposure to the wider Jaipuria community and the relationships they can build during and beyond their MBA.

SPANDAN added an experiential dimension to the orientation by bringing together those beginning their MBA journey and those who have already carried their Jaipuria experiences into their professional lives.

Building Connections from the Beginning

The event concluded as a meaningful platform for interaction between MBA students and alumni.

Through conversations, panel interactions and student participation, SPANDAN reflected the importance of maintaining connections between current students and the alumni community.

For the MBA Batch 2026–28, the session offered an early opportunity to engage with the Jaipuria network and gain perspectives from alumni as they begin their own management journey at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad.

SPANDAN Alumni Talk 2026 therefore represented more than an orientation activity. It created a space for experiences to be shared, questions to be asked and connections to begin, strengthening the relationship between generations of the Jaipuria community.
