Data Analytics Hackathon 2023

Data analytics hackathon of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad enables you to compete with students who are passionate on data analytics and want to build their career in data analytics sector. This event provides an opportunity to work on real life data analytics problems, and improve your skill set. You also stand a chance to win prize.

Rules:

1. Three members of a team comprised with existing student of B.Tech. / BBA / BCA / B. Sc. / MBA can apply for the event.
2. All members in a team must be from one college.
3. There is no registration fee to participate in the event.
4. Registration will be confirmed on first come first basis.
5. All participants will get certificate of participation.
6. Winning team will get the trophy and certificate.
7. A problem statement and data set will be given on the date of the event.
8. The team can use either Python or R programming Language for data analysis.
9. The team can use their own laptop; however, desktops can also be provided on demand.
10. All team members will be given a time duration of 6hrs from 10am to 4pm for coding and analysis.
11. All team members have to present their analysis to the jury members on the basis of that the winner will be declared. Each team will be given a maximum of 15 minutes to present their analysis.
12. Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects. Working on a project before the event and open-sourcing it for the sole purpose of using the code during the event is not allowed.
13. Teams can be disqualified from the competition at the organizers’ discretion. Reasons might include but are not limited to breaking the Competition Rules, or other unsporting, unethical and misbehavior.
