The Cultural Club of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad organized Bharat Ek Raangi Saanjh on 12 September 2026, bringing India’s rich cultural diversity to life through the creativity and participation of MBA students.
Designed around the spirit of “Unity in Diversity,” the event provided students with a platform to represent the traditions, languages, attire, art and stories of their home states. From traditional dance and singing to regional attire, live painting and storytelling, the evening transformed the campus into a vibrant representation of India’s diverse cultural heritage.
Bringing India’s States and Traditions to One Stage
Bharat Ek Raangi Saanjh was designed to give MBA students an opportunity to celebrate and share their cultural roots with their peers.
The evening featured a vibrant combination of traditional dance and singing performances, a regional attire ramp walk, live paintings, poetry and storytelling sessions. Each performance was rooted in the cultural identity of a particular state or region.
Rather than simply presenting cultural performances, students shared the traditions and stories behind them, allowing the audience to experience different aspects of India’s cultural fabric through their peers.
Regional Attire Takes Centre Stage
One of the highlights of the evening was the ramp walk celebrating regional attire.
Students appeared in authentic traditional outfits representing different parts of India and confidently narrated the cultural significance of their attire. Several participants also spoke in their native regional languages, adding greater authenticity to their presentations.
The activity gave students an opportunity to represent their roots with pride while introducing their peers to the distinctive clothing, language and traditions associated with different regions.
Celebrating India Through Dance, Music and Art
Traditional dance and singing performances brought the sounds and rhythms of different states to the stage.
Students used music and performance to capture the cultural character of their respective regions, while live paintings, poetry and storytelling added a more personal and reflective dimension to the evening.
The preparation visible across attire, language, performances and artwork demonstrated the students’ dedication and their sense of ownership in representing their cultural identities.
A Campus Filled with Colours, Stories and Celebration
The evening created a lively and festive atmosphere across the campus. Students enthusiastically supported their peers while experiencing the stories, sounds and colours of cultures from across India.
Beyond entertainment, Bharat Ek Raangi Saanjh became an opportunity for students to learn directly from one another.

Recognising Outstanding Performances
Prizes were awarded to some of the most outstanding performances of Bharat Ek Raangi Saanjh.
First Prize was awarded to Shubham Sharma and Nishank Chaudhary for their ramp walk depicting Haryanvi culture. Their presentation combined traditional attire with dialogue delivered in the Haryanvi language.
Second Prize went to a student group for a live stage enactment of Chhath Puja, representing the culture of Bihar. The performance created a strong emotional connection with the audience.
Third Prize was awarded to Ayushi Mehrishi for a soulful song on Lord Ram, depicting the cultural essence of Ayodhya.
The winning performances reflected the variety of formats through which students expressed India’s cultural heritage during the event.
Strengthening Unity Through Cultural Diversity
Bharat Ek Raangi Saanjh demonstrated how a diverse student community can come together while celebrating individual cultural identities.
