Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad organised an educational visit to the UP International Trade Show 2026 on Sunday, 27 September 2026, providing MBA students with first-hand exposure to businesses, entrepreneurs, innovative products and evolving market practices.

A total of 30 students from MBA Dual, Business Analytics (BA) and Banking & Financial Services (BFS) participated in the visit under the guidance of faculty coordinators Dr. Devi Archana Mohanty, Dr. Muskan Bhatnagar and Dr. Dolmita Shukla.

The educational visit was designed to take management learning beyond the classroom and enable students to understand the practical dimensions of business promotion, entrepreneurship, professional networking and market development.

Exploring the Business and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Trade shows provide a unique environment where businesses, entrepreneurs and industry representatives come together to showcase products, services and business ideas.

During the visit, students explored various stalls, exhibitions and business showcases at the UP International Trade Show 2026. This exposure enabled them to observe how different enterprises present their offerings and interact with potential customers and business partners.

Students gained practical insights into how businesses operate within a competitive marketplace and how they position themselves to attract attention, build relationships and identify opportunities for growth.

Understanding Business Promotion and Branding

One of the key learning areas during the visit was understanding how organisations communicate their value propositions to different stakeholders.

Students observed a variety of approaches to product presentation, branding, customer engagement, promotion and market expansion. Seeing these strategies in a live business environment enabled them to connect concepts discussed during their MBA programme with their practical application.

The visit also highlighted how presentation and communication can influence the way a product, service or business is perceived in the marketplace.

Interaction with Founders and Entrepreneurs

A significant highlight of the educational visit was the opportunity for students to interact directly with founders, entrepreneurs and industry representatives.

These conversations provided students with first-hand perspectives on entrepreneurial journeys and the realities of establishing and growing businesses.

Students engaged in discussions around areas including startup journeys, business models, market opportunities, product innovation, differentiation, customer acquisition, branding and business promotion.

The interactions also explored the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and the skills expected from management graduates entering the industry.

Learning About Emerging Business Models and Market Opportunities

Exposure to multiple businesses at the trade show enabled students to observe different business models and approaches to identifying market opportunities.

Participants could examine how organisations differentiate their products and services, respond to customer requirements and explore opportunities for business expansion.

Such exposure contributed to a broader understanding of the relationship between innovation, customer needs, market positioning and business growth.

Connecting MBA Classroom Learning with Business Practice

An important objective of the visit was to enable students to connect academic concepts with real-world business situations.

Rather than studying entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, networking and business development only from a classroom perspective, students were able to observe these areas in an active commercial environment.

The experience provided an opportunity to understand how management principles are applied by businesses while interacting with customers, partners and other stakeholders.

Exploring Internship and Experiential Learning Opportunities

The visit also created opportunities for students to explore internships and practical industry exposure.

Through conversations with founders and industry representatives, participants gained insights into the competencies organisations expect from management students in the workplace. Students were also able to explore potential internship opportunities through these interactions.

Such conversations can contribute to professional networking while enabling students to better understand the skills and capabilities required for different business roles.

Strengthening Professional Networking Skills

Networking emerged as another important aspect of the educational visit.

Students experienced how professional relationships are initiated and developed in a business environment. Their conversations with entrepreneurs and industry professionals demonstrated the importance of asking relevant questions, communicating confidently and developing meaningful professional connections.

This exposure contributed to students’ understanding of relationship building and networking as important components of business and career development.

Meaningful Learning Outcomes for MBA Students

The visit to the UP International Trade Show 2026 resulted in several learning outcomes for participating students.

They gained first-hand exposure to the business and entrepreneurial ecosystem, developed a better understanding of emerging business models and market trends, and learned about practical entrepreneurial challenges through direct interactions with founders.

Students also strengthened their awareness of branding, product presentation, customer engagement and business promotion while recognising the importance of professional networking.

The opportunity to explore internships and career avenues further strengthened the career relevance of the visit.

Building Industry Orientation and Career Readiness

The educational visit reflected the emphasis of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad on connecting MBA education with practical industry exposure.

By bringing together classroom concepts and direct interaction with businesses, founders and industry representatives, the visit enabled students to understand the realities of entrepreneurship and contemporary business practices more closely.

Overall, the experience contributed to strengthening students’ industry orientation, entrepreneurial awareness, professional networking and career readiness, while providing meaningful exposure to the dynamic business ecosystem showcased at the UP International Trade Show 2026.
