Report on Day 5 and Valedictory Session of the 5-Day Faculty Development Program

From Idea to Publication: Paper Development Through AI Tools

15–19 June 2026

Day 5: 19 June 2026

The fifth and final day of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “From Idea to Publication: Paper Development Through AI Tools” was conducted successfully on 19 June 2026 at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Ajay Chauhan, Founder, ResearchShiksha, an eminent academician and researcher with extensive expertise in research methodology, AI-enabled research workflows, and advanced decision-modelling techniques.

The day commenced with the felicitation of Dr. Ajay Chauhan by the Dean Student Welfare and Dean Academics, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. The participants warmly welcomed the resource person and looked forward to the concluding sessions of the FDP.

During the day, Dr. Chauhan conducted insightful and highly engaging sessions on Advanced AI for Research, focusing on the integration of AI tools into various stages of the research workflow. Participants were introduced to practical approaches for leveraging AI in ideation, literature review, research design, manuscript development, and publication support while maintaining academic rigor, originality, and research quality. The sessions also covered DEMATEL (Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory), a technique used to analyse complex cause-and-effect relationships and interdependencies among factors. Participants gained insights into identifying influential variables and visualising influence structures within research systems.

Further, Dr. Chauhan introduced participants to Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) and MICMAC Analysis, explaining how these techniques help researchers establish hierarchical relationships among variables and provide interpretive explanations for complex research phenomena. Through practical illustrations and examples, participants developed an understanding of the application of these methodologies in management and social science research. The sessions were highly interactive and provided participants with valuable exposure to emerging research methodologies and AI-assisted research practices. The practical demonstrations and discussions enabled participants to appreciate how advanced analytical techniques can be effectively integrated into the research process to enhance quality and publication outcomes.

The FDP concluded with a Valedictory Session, during which certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their active participation and successful completion of the programme. The certificate distribution ceremony was conducted by Dr. Ruby Bhatia, Dean Academics, Dr. Anubha, FDP Convenor, and Dr. Ajay Chauhan, Resource Person, who congratulated the participants on successfully completing the five-day FDP and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in research and publication.

In her concluding remarks, Dr. Ruby Bhatia, Dean Academics, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed her sincere gratitude to all the resource persons, participants, the FDP Convenor, and the coordinating team for their contributions in making the FDP a grand success. She appreciated the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the participants throughout the programme and acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the organizing team in ensuring the smooth execution of all sessions. The participants, both online and offline, expressed their appreciation for the well-coordinated, meticulously planned, and highly enriching FDP. The programme successfully achieved its objective of equipping participants with contemporary research methodologies, systematic literature review techniques, SmartPLS applications, AI-powered research tools, and advanced decision-modelling approaches. The FDP concluded on a highly positive note, leaving participants better prepared to undertake impactful research and contribute to high-quality scholarly publications.
