Report on Day 2 of the 5-Day Faculty Development Program

From Idea to Publication: Paper Development Through AI Tools

15–19 June 2026

Day 2: 16 June 2026

The second day of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “From Idea to Publication: Paper Development Through AI Tools” was conducted successfully on 16 June 2026 at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Shubham Singhania, FORE School of Management, New Delhi, who continued to provide participants with practical and research-oriented insights into the development of high-quality Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs).

The day’s sessions focused on finalising research directions, structuring an SLR, framework development using TCCM, ADO, and thematic approaches, Excel-based data extraction and coding, and writing SLR papers for publication. Participants were guided through the process of transforming a broad research idea into a focused and publishable review study.

A distinguishing feature of the sessions was the highly hands-on and participant-centric approach adopted by Dr. Singhania. Rather than relying solely on conceptual explanations, he encouraged participants to work directly on their own research topics and datasets, enabling them to apply the concepts in real time. This practical orientation significantly enhanced the learning experience and helped participants understand the nuances of conducting a rigorous SLR.

The resource person shared a rich collection of valuable academic resources, including standard templates, coding sheets, framework development formats, and examples from high-quality published articles. These resources provided participants with practical guidance for conducting and writing systematic literature reviews that meet the standards of reputed academic journals. Throughout the sessions, Dr. Singhania interacted closely with the participants, reaching out to individuals to understand their research interests and address specific challenges they were facing. His willingness to engage personally with participants ensured that doubts were resolved promptly and that each attendee could progress confidently with their research work.

The sessions also highlighted common mistakes made by researchers while conducting SLRs, including issues related to keyword selection, database searching, article screening, framework development, and manuscript writing. Along with identifying these challenges, Dr. Singhania discussed practical remedies and best practices to enhance the quality, rigor, and publishability of review papers.

The session on SLR writing provided participants with valuable insights into structuring manuscripts, maintaining academic voice, presenting findings effectively, and selecting suitable journals for submission. The discussions were enriched with examples from published studies and practical recommendations drawn from the resource person’s extensive research experience.

The second day concluded on a highly positive and enriching note, marking the successful completion of Dr. Shubham Singhania’s sessions. Participants expressed appreciation for the depth of knowledge shared, the practical orientation of the training, and the personalized guidance provided throughout the two-day engagement. The sessions equipped participants with a strong foundation for developing high-quality systematic literature reviews and advancing their research towards publication.
