AI Spark: AI Enabled Analytics Event at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad

At Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, the focus on industry relevant learning continues to shape how MBA students engage with emerging technologies. On 25 April 2026, the IT and Analytics Club, in collaboration with IIC, organized AI Spark: AI Enabled Analytics, an intensive hands on session designed to introduce students to the real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence in data analytics.

The event brought together 20 MBA students for a three hour immersive learning experience at the campus, reflecting the institute’s commitment to blending technology with business education.

Building Practical Understanding of AI in Analytics

The objective of AI Spark was clear. It aimed to help students understand how AI is transforming data analytics and decision making in modern organizations. Instead of a lecture format, the event was structured as an activity driven session where participants actively worked with datasets, tools, and analytical frameworks.

This approach aligns with the institute’s experiential learning model, where students are encouraged to apply concepts in real business scenarios and develop decision making capabilities .

Hands On Experience with Real World Datasets

Participants were given access to multiple real time datasets, each representing different business contexts. These included Indian stock market data, customer behavior patterns, Shark Tank India datasets, and Spotify data.

Students worked on cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting this data using a combination of analytical tools and AI platforms. Tools such as R, Python, Power BI, and Tableau were used for data processing and visualization, while AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude AI, and Workik supported insights generation and predictive thinking.

The session encouraged students to go beyond numbers and focus on extracting meaningful business insights. They explored patterns, trends, and correlations while also working on predictive analysis and recommendation strategies.

Interactive Learning and Business Insight Development

One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the interactive environment. Students were not just analyzing data in isolation. They engaged in discussions around how insights could be translated into business decisions.

This helped them understand how organizations use analytics not just for reporting, but for strategy, forecasting, and competitive advantage. The exposure to real world datasets and tools made the learning process practical and relevant.

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants developed a strong foundation in AI driven analytics. They gained clarity on how Artificial Intelligence integrates with data analytics workflows and enhances decision making.

Students improved their ability to interpret complex datasets, apply visualization techniques, and build basic predictive models. The session also strengthened critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning, which are essential skills for modern management professionals.

Encouraging Future Ready Skill Development

AI Spark stands as a strong example of how Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad is preparing students for the data driven business landscape. With increasing demand for analytics and AI skills across industries, such initiatives ensure that students remain aligned with evolving corporate expectations.

The institute continues to emphasize practical exposure, industry integration, and skill based learning to develop professionals who can navigate complex business challenges with confidence and clarity.

Events like AI Spark not only enhance technical knowledge but also build the mindset required to leverage data for strategic decision making, making MBA graduates truly future ready.
