At Jaipuria MBA, learning goes beyond textbooks into real-world challenges that shape the financial ecosystem. On 25 April 2026, the FinTech Club organized an insightful event titled “Fintech Fraud and Scam Awareness”, bringing together MBA 2nd Semester (BFSI) students and FinTech Club members to explore the growing risks of digital financial fraud and the importance of cybersecurity.
Understanding the Rising Threat of Digital Fraud
The session opened with a discussion on the increasing relevance of fintech security in today’s digital-first financial landscape. With rapid advancements in technology, financial systems have become more accessible, but also more vulnerable to fraud and cyber threats.
Students were introduced to how digital fraud has evolved over time and why awareness and proactive security measures are critical in safeguarding financial ecosystems.
Student Presentations on FinTech and Cybersecurity
Participants presented on a range of relevant and contemporary topics including the evolution of digital fraud, identity theft, cybersecurity challenges in fintech, and ethical hacking techniques for fraud detection.
What made the session stand out was the strong use of real-world case studies and practical insights. Students demonstrated sharp analytical thinking and research capabilities, showing how fraud can be identified, analyzed, and prevented using both technology and strategy.
Expert Evaluation and Learning
The event was judged by Dr. Abhishek, who evaluated participants on key parameters such as content quality, originality, presentation skills, and practical relevance. His feedback provided valuable direction and encouraged students to think deeper about financial security challenges.
Faculty coordinators Dr. Ashwini Varshney, Dr. Namita Nigam, and Dr. Kirti Khanna played a key role in guiding and organizing the event, ensuring a meaningful learning experience for all participants.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners who showcased exceptional performance:
- Rank 1: Ritu and Kanak
- Rank 2: Harshita and Gauravi
- Rank 3: Nancy and Yash
Their work reflected a strong understanding of fintech risks along with the ability to present solutions effectively.
