The Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad successfully hosted its flagship annual cultural extravaganza, Mercato: The Fiesta 2025, on 20 December 2025 at the Indirapuram campus. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 1000 students from across Delhi NCR and beyond, reinforcing Mercato’s reputation as a vibrant platform for creativity, innovation, and youthful expression.
The celebrations began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony graced by distinguished industry leaders and youth icons as Guests of Honour. The eminent speakers included Pramod Kumar Jain, Sameer Kohli, Taranjeet Singh, and Mehtaz Wasif. Their addresses highlighted the growing importance of industry academia collaboration, leadership development, digital transformation, and holistic education in shaping future professionals.
The inaugural session was further enriched by the presence of Daviender Narang, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, along with senior faculty members and institutional leaders. The dynamic lineup included Nukkad Natak, Business Plan Competition, Startup Fair, Poster Making, Fashion Show, Dance Competition, Battle of Bands, Singing Competition, Hackathon, and several other student led showcases. Each competition reflected originality, passion, and a strong competitive spirit, offering participants a truly immersive campus experience.
One of the most memorable highlights of the event was the live celebrity performance by Simar Kaur, whose electrifying stage presence and soulful renditions captivated the audience. The performance brought the festivities to a grand crescendo, leaving an unforgettable impression on students, faculty, alumni, and guests.
The event also welcomed Jaipuria alumni who returned to their alma mater to reconnect, mentor, and celebrate the institute’s vibrant culture. Their participation strengthened the bond between past and present Jaipurians, adding pride and emotional depth to the celebration.
