Jaipuria Institute of Management Participates in IIC Regional Meet 2025

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad actively participated in the IIC Regional Meet 2025, organised by IIC, MIC, and AICTE on 25th November 2025 at G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida. The full-day event, held from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, brought together innovation leaders, educators, student innovators, and ecosystem enablers from across the region.

Faculty members Dr. Smita Agarwal and Dr. Namita represented Jaipuria Institute of Management, along with student participants:

Key Highlights of the Regional Meet

The meet featured multiple knowledge-driven sessions that explored the future of innovation in higher education institutions. Participants attended the following activities:

  • Local Inauguration of IIC Regional Meet, graced by Chief Guest Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, and Guests of Honour Dr. S. P. Mishra and Prof. Anil Kumar Sharma, who shared insights on India’s innovation roadmap.
  • Central Inauguration Ceremony, uniting IIC members and leaders from across the country.
  • Poster Presentation to Jurors, showcasing student ideas and innovative models.
  • Training of Trainers (ToT) Program for Innovation Ambassadors, covering:
    • Hybrid role of Innovation Ambassadors
    • Mentorship techniques to guide student innovators and start-ups
    • Structured innovation strategies for strengthening the HEI ecosystem
  • Valedictory Ceremony, summarising learnings and national initiatives.

A key moment of pride for Jaipuria was Divyansh’s presentation of his startup venture “Heritage Foods” in the YUKTI Innovation Challenge (Round 2), where he interacted with jurors and received valuable feedback for further development.

Institutional Outcomes:

Participation in the Regional Meet contributed significantly to the institute’s innovation ecosystem:

  • Established connections with 11 colleges, universities, and institutions for participation in Mercato 2025 events.
  • Networked with IIC and E-Cell members for collaboration on B-Plan competitions and the Start-up Mela.
  • Engaged with engineering colleges to explore participation in upcoming Hackathons.
  • Connected with start-up stalls and exhibitors, opening avenues for mentorship, partnerships, and future engagements.

The event strengthened Jaipuria Institute of Management’s mission to foster entrepreneurship, creativity, and industry-oriented innovation, empowering students to actively contribute to India’s growing start-up landscape.
