The Marketing Research Club of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad organized an engaging event titled “Beyond Algorithms: AI in Marketing” on 22nd November 2025, at the JIM Auditorium. Held from 2 PM to 4 PM, the two-hour activity offered students a collaborative platform to explore the evolving intersection of Artificial Intelligence and marketing strategy.
The objective of the event was to encourage students to work in teams, discuss contemporary marketing issues, and showcase their analytical thinking and communication skills. By brainstorming in groups, participants strengthened their teamwork abilities while gaining exposure to real-world marketing challenges powered by AI.
The session featured panel discussions across three thought-provoking sub-themes:
- Ethics, Privacy, and Bias in AI Marketing – focusing on responsible algorithmic use, data protection, and fairness in automated decision-making.
- Customer Experience Enhancement & Personalization vs Privacy Concerns – examining how AI-driven personalization can elevate user experience while raising ethical considerations.
- Generative AI for Innovative Content Creation – exploring how tools like GenAI can assist in producing creative assets, campaigns, and marketing communication efficiently.
Each team presented their arguments, case examples, and insights, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of learning and debate.
Learning Outcomes
Students gained:
- A deeper understanding of AI’s role in modern marketing strategies
- Awareness of ethical issues, emerging job roles, and industry expectations
- Enhanced public speaking, critical thinking, and presentation skills
A total of 30 students participated (six teams of five members each). The winning team comprised the following students, each receiving the book “Krishna Gita” by Shri Vinod Malhotra as a prize:

The event was coordinated by Dr. Abhinav Sharma, Dr. Anubha, Ms. Abhilasha Singh, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, and Dr. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava, with participation from four faculty members. The activity incurred no expenditure, highlighting the club’s efficient and resourceful execution.
The session reinforced Jaipuria Institute of Management’s commitment to experiential learning, contemporary skill development, and fostering future-ready marketing leaders equipped to navigate the AI-driven business landscape.
