On April 21, 2025, the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, jointly organized Day 1 of IP UTSAV in celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day. The event was held in the JIM classrooms and marked the inauguration of IP UTSAV—a national platform dedicated to enhancing intellectual property (IP) literacy and public engagement among innovators and creators.
Objective
The event aimed to highlight the transformative power of creativity and innovation in driving economic, social, and cultural development. It also sought to raise awareness about the intellectual property system as a crucial tool in promoting and protecting creative endeavors, while formally launching IP UTSAV as a platform to inspire nationwide participation.

- Prof. (Dr.) Unnat P. Pandit, Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks, DPIIT, Government of India, shed light on India's evolving IP framework.
