PLANATHON 2024: Shaping the Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow
On November 28, 2024, the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM) organized the much-anticipated Business Plan Competition: PLANATHON 2024. This event served as a launchpad for innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial thinking among students. With a focus on practical business planning, innovation, and feasibility, PLANATHON encouraged participants to think creatively and present viable business solutions.
Objective
The primary objective of the competition was to:
- Foster entrepreneurial thinking among students.

- Enable students to gain constructive feedback from industry experts.
Event Description
Held in the JIM Auditorium, PLANATHON 2024 provided a platform for 14 teams to present their business plans, tailored to address contemporary consumer needs. Each team had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, including Utkarsh Chauhan, JIM MBA alumnus, and Abhinav Sharma, faculty member at JIM.
The judges evaluated the business plans based on:
- Financial Feasibility
- Innovation and Creativity
- Market Potential
- Target Customer Identification
- Prototype/Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Presentation
- Clarity of Financial Projections and Application of Funds
The event saw enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing creative solutions designed to address real-world problems.
