Excellent Opportunity for Jaipuria Students at 8th India International MSME Startup Expo & Summits- 2022 on 26 August 2022

An Industry visit for the students of Jaipuria Institute of Management was organized on August 26, 2022. Students of Jaipuria had an opportunity to visit the 8th India International MSME  startup expo & summits- 2022  at Paragti Maidan.  It is india’s only international expo/trade fair post Covid. The objective of the fair is to promote startup, trade, industry, offering much needed global platform for networking. The fair encouraged startups to find new business opportunities, markets, new ideas. The aim was also to share knowledge about Central/State Government’s new promotional scheme/policies/ legislations and to have B2B/B2G/B2C Meets. With this visit, the students of Jaipuria had an excellent opportunity to interact with manufacturers, startup founders, innovators. Students attended the panel discussions by delegates from different countries like Russia, Bahrain, Papua New Guinea. The mission of the event was “TRANSFORMING JOB SEEKER YOUTH TO JOB CREATORS” by promoting MEMEs – STARTUP – ACADEMIA – GOVERNMMENT – partnerships. After getting their registration done, students attended the panel discussion. Thereafter, they visited the stalls by different manufacturers which gave a real life exposure to the students. Jaipuria Institute of Management has been keen on promoting an industry exposure to its students so as to give them insights on real life work culture of industry, market. While at Jaipuria it is believed that theory knowledge is not sufficient for a holistic learning, it keeps on providing exposure to explore and learn. The visit was initiated and arranged by the Dean Students’ Welfare Dr Ashwani Varshney. Professor (Dr) Daviender Narang, Director, JIM insisted on continuing with the visit so as to providing students a real life learning opportunity. Faculty members accompanied the students to the visit were Dr Devi Archana Mohanty and Ms Jahnavi. A total of 25 students visited the fair. It was definitely a perk for the students as they got an opportunity to gain practical experience and interact with practicing industry people.
