International Conference on Indigenous Practices in Business

Prof. (Dr.) Daviender Narang, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad was invited as a guest of honour to an international conference titled ‘International Conference on Indigenous Practices in Business’ held at G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur (NAAC A+, NIRF ranking-130, ARIIA Ranking-1) on 6th May 2022. Dr. Narang gave an address on the central theme of the conference: Indigenous management practices by citing numerous examples from the industry world and the growth dynamics of developing nations. Prof. Narang emphasized the fact that India has emerged as a dominant economic player in the global economy, which calls for paying attention to the indigenous theories and practices that India should contribute to management scholarly. Prof. Narang concluded the session by citing that if these indigenous knowledge systems are articulated properly then it will increase the productivity of those organizations. Moreover, these knowledge management practices would contribute to global management knowledge as well.
