Every decision that we grapple with are not just prematurely based on emotions. Emotions roughly affect our routine decisions. Decisions are just not implemented out of sheer mindfulness but are also drive from emotions so concerned which any machine code shall less feel, alas! There lies a thin line between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence but when one talks about them, emotions and frequent acts are the ones that affect everything, the gap of decision making is the analysis that is very well versed and precise but we shall not overlook the underlying fact that emotional intelligence plays a vital role in any business dealing, albeit to acknowledge the fact and assistance of automation from the efficiency we are served with. The fluxes that have taken place in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence is bound to transform the very living of humans; their workspace and personal space as well. A jaw-dropping surprise is the uprising of the technology that most of us fear is also scary. In this modern era, we state that there is nothing we shall fear; using machine power, we shall defeat every uprising and crush that down to ashes. It is freakishly astonishing to look forward to all the ways our lives may transform and improve over the period; from saving a date to the calendar to the alarms we set for our routine jobs, the cars we drive to the updates we provided to our systems. Everything is a blooming change- the era of automation is taking over everything. TESLA is a game-changer to the industry and the world.
I would complement upon certain points and my ideology from a thought I had, and it was alarming for me to hear the blunts of the corporate world; in this very era of modernization and an encounter with the pandemic, where the majority tends to lose jobs but some people spun this into opportunity just by perceptive behaviour towards the adversaries and crafting a foot ahead into the right direction. On a bit of research, I apprehended that- Amongst the fortune 500 companies when opening up their lines for recruitment, 98% of resumes don’t even reach the HR. this happens because of some upgraded software they use to ease their head job. It filters out the data in such a manner that even the most efficient is not filtered out but sent to the dustbin. And there’s where the EQ works for many men. They understand the algorithm and provide the software with the exact match it looks for, BOOM!!! Shortlisted. There lie only two methods, outsmarting the machines or a collaborative approach. And the strategy one chooses, turns them into an entrepreneur. Ever given a thought to why we want to have a one-on-one conversation with HR??? because they are humans, they can empathize, inspire and co-create meaningful relationships with an individual. Humans with high emotional intelligence are easily categorized into the successful bar in a constantly evolving and uncertain world.
Technologically advanced world is amazing, but on the contrary, machines do encounter faults, the systems can be hacked into, be it any secure and sophisticated. They do not have a prompt action, what if they do not detect a bug or a server breach?? In times where people have a fear of not finding jobs and losing them to the machines, the machines are bound to encounter faults and breakdowns. That’s the actual need for human intelligence, which shall never stand forfeited and the leverage to it is non-negotiable.
It was a nerve-wracking experience for me to witness the loss of jobs when Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad was constantly paving a light way and provide us with a parallel perspective to think and analyse the aspects.
