BIKANERVALA is an FMCG conglomerate.It was 2nd June 2017 and I was supposed to report for my internship at 9:00am at the corporate office in New Delhi. However, I reached at 8:30am as I was very excited for the first day. I inquired at the reception about my appointment for internship in Sales & Marketing. I filled up a form after which I wasescorted to the conference room for briefing. Mr. Jitender from Sales Department interacted with me and he gave me abriefing about BIKANO. The brand Bikano has an abundant presence in the market because of its excellent products like “Aloo Bhujia, Tangy Tomato,ChatarMatar which are always in a great demand.
The ambience at the office was flawless and magnetic. I could already feel myself sitting in the board room brainstorming on sales forecast. I was asked my area of interest to which I answered “Consumer Buying Behavior”. The staff was really interactive and responsive.Mr. Jitendertold me to report the next day at 10:00am in order to start my training. I left the premises on a very positive note with full enthusiasm to perform on the next day.
