Sports Mania 2014

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad organised “JIM Sports Mania-2014” on 6th March . This event was inaugurated by Prof.(Dr) Daviender Narang, Director of the institute. The event was marked with huge success by energetic and active participation of senior and junior batch students of MBA. The various sports activities included chess, carrom, volleyball and table tennis. This event is conducted every year and students of both the years participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. ) The winners of men’s carom board competition were Karamdeep and the runner up was Kuldeep Tomar of MBA IVth semester and in women’s section Priyanka Singh stood first and Preeti Singh of IInd semester was the runner up. In chess competition first prize was taken by Ravi Srivastava and second prize was given to Shobhit Masih. Richit with is outstanding performance gained the first position in table tennis and second position was taken by Chetan Kumar Vij of IInd semester. In the exciting match of volleyball senior batch of students defeated junior batch with 2-1 in three set series. On this event all the faculty members and students encouraged the participants for their outstanding performances and the event was co-ordinated by Dr. Ashwani Varshney and sports co-ordinator Mr. Anubhav Varma.
